Greetings, film fans! CombatCon has some seriously great films on the docket for your viewing pleasure. The work presented at our Film Expo is submitted by independent film-makers, and showcases a wide range of styles, influences, and genres. Here are the films we’ll be showing at CombatCon! - Abelar: Tales of an Ancient Empire — A princess is on a quest to unite the five greatest warriors to save her kingdom from a demon sorceress. Directed by Albert Pyun, and starring Kevin Sorbo! Q&A folling screening with be Albert Pyun, writer Cynthia Curnan, and actors Michael Pare and Olivier Gruner.
- Bartitsu: The Lost Martial Art of Sherlock Holmes — A documentary shot in Switzerland, Italy, the USA, and the UK that reveals the fascinating history, rediscovery and modern revival of the original mixed marital art, Bartitsu
- Blood Trail — Winner of the Best Western category at the 2010 Action On Film Festival
- The Doer Series — A series of comedic silent film shorts from the independent micro-film studio Grumblefish Films
- Fable: Teeth of Beasts — Combining sword and sorcery with film noir, this action/adventure film could easily be labled “NoirPunk,” and sets the tone for an exciting new genre
- The Gamers: Dorkness Rising — A parody of fantasy films, this hilarious romp through the world of sword and sorcery will leave even the most hard-core adventure gamer in stitches
- JourneyQuest — A fantasy comedy web series featuring intellectual orcs, incompetent wizards, and holy zombies
- Heal — A poignant and timely film about the modern battlefield, and the thin line between duty and humanity
- Horizon — An inteligent post-apocalyptic short film with stunning special effects and thrilling fight scenes
- The Hunted — A special screening of several episodes of this dark thriller, featuring vampires and their prey-turned-hunters
- The Hunt for Gollum — An award-winning, unofficial prequel to “The Lord of the Rings”
- Project London — A CombatCon exclusive! We will be showing a never-before-seen trailer for this upcoming, action-packed, visual-effects rich sci-fi film
- Voodoo Cowboys — Dark and suspensful, this film weaves chaos, mayhem, zombies and dark humor in an unforgetable tapestry of action and horror
